New Single, MEET ON THE MOON, OUT APRIL 15

The Story so far

Scottish-raised, Brighton-based songwriter Alex Amor unveils her new single “Meet On The Moon,” written during a creative reset back home in Glasgow, the song marked a pivotal shift in Amor’s artistic direction. It was during this time that she began producing in Ableton, opening the door to a more expansive sonic palette and guiding her sound away from the indie-pop textures of her earlier work toward a dreamy, atmospheric “cosmic Americana” sound.

Built around shimmering guitars, soft-focus synths and hypnotic melodies, “Meet On The Moon” occupies a hazy alt-pop space reminiscent of artists such as Cigarettes After Sex, Beach House, and Clairo. At its core, the song is a deeply personal tribute to a close friend who passed away, imagining her spirit watching from the moon. The result is a tender meditation on grief, memory, and feminine mysticism.

Amor has been collaborating on material shaped by her fascination with spirituality, cosmic symbolism, and the belief that human emotion can mirror the vastness of the universe itself. She has been collaborating with such acclaimed figures as Peter Brien (Kojaque, Kean Kavanagh), Baz Kaye (Jalen Ngonda, Bondax), Karma Kid (Jessie Ware, Shygirl), and Matthew Neighbour (Role Model, Drugdealer, Still Woozy).

Already an emerging voice in the UK indie landscape, Amor has released three EPs to date — Love Language (2021), The Art Of Letting Go (2022), and Supersonic (2023).
